Even when you are trying to lose weight, keep in mind that it is still important to ensure that you eating healthy food that will hold you over until your next meal. Chewing gum may distract you from your hunger, but it may lead to you craving more food later on.
4. Eliminate carbs and fat from your diet
On top of exercise, a balanced diet is the most important thing that you can do for your body. When you take out entire groups such as fats or carbohydrates, you will most likely need to eat more of what is left over to compensate. This is why people who do have a low-fat diet tend to eat more carbohydrates, and vice versa. When you are depriving yourself of essential nutrients that your body units, it can stimulate the production of insulin, a fat-storing hormone. If you are trying to lose weight, this is not a good thing to experience.
5. Always have a heavy breakfast
Breakfast is certainly the most important meal of the day because it provides with the energy to get started with your day. However, it is also possible to over-fuel. Heavy breakfasts tend to have too much carbohydrates, which is not advisable. In fact, having too much of anything should be avoided.
